FIRST POST!

I spent a lot of time wondering thinking about what my first post should be on and then a thought popped into my head... FREEDOM!

                                                                                                                                                                      

We fought for our freedom only to enslave ourselves, 

We fought for our freedom only to be enslaved by our people, 

We fought for our freedom only to be enslaved by our government,

We fought for our freedom only to face a new form of slavery called neo-colonialism,

We fought for our freedom only to face the worse horror known to mankind, betrayal by our own people, our flesh and blood...

Maybe we were only made to believe we were fighting for our freedom when really, we were fighting to break free from the chains of the west to be in the chains wielded by our own people.

Could it be that freedom is an illusion in Africa?
